House in Psychiko

Psychiko Athens, 350 m2


We got involved with the design of this house when it was on construction in the phase of brick walls. The structure was flat cube without any balconies. We proposed and we designed a more "home" like house with small gestures in the volume that were cladded with wood.
This is a house of a family with 5 members and it is rather a verical house but we made an effort to enlarge the common areas as the living room and the garden.

Η κατοικία 300 περίπου τετραγωνικών ήρθε στα χέρια μας όταν ήδη είχαν κτιστεί τα τούβλα. Ο όγκος ήταν επίπεδος χωρίς μπαλκόνια ή οποιαδήποτε άλλη έξοχη.
Αποφασίσαμε να δώσουμε μια πιο οικεία αίσθηση στην κατοικία δημιουργώντας μια πιο πολυεπίπεδη κατασκευή και χρησιμοποιώντας το ξύλο σαν στοιχείο επένδυσης των σημαντικών αλλαγών που επιχειρήσαμε στην όψη.
